Itinerary
Welcome to Rome!
Upon entering the arrivals hall at the airport, a driver shall be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Our guide will greet you at the hotel and provide all the necessary information.
In the evening we’ll arrange a transfer to the Trastevere neighborhood – a great introduction to Rome boasting numerous trattorias (informal eating establishments) and osterias (inns) imbued with the Italian spirit, ready to serve you scrumptious local dishes.

In the morning, we’ll take a scenic tour of the Eternal City of Rome! First we’ll visit Vatican City, the HQ of the Catholic church. Here we’ll enter the world famous St. Peter’s Basilica.
Next up, we’ll travel to the Roman Colosseum, the iconic symbol of Rome, and impressive edifice whose construction dates back 2,000 years to the apex of the Roman Empire.
In the evening we’ll head to the Via Cavour area, where you’ll find dozens of cuisines to choose from for a romantic evening dinner in Rome (own expense).

Today we’ll say farewell to Rome and head north, ultimately arriving in Florence, where we’ll head straight to Piazzale Michelangelo, one of the most impressive sites in the city.
In the evening we take a walking tour with a local expert through the historic center, seeing places such as the Ponte Vecchio, Il Duomo, and Plaza della Signoria. You’ll have free time here to explore on your own and grab a bite to eat (own expense).

Today we’ll enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains before arriving in Venice.
Here we will board a Vapporetto for a cruise around the canals in the historic center. With a local guide, we’ll visit the marvelous St. Mark’s Square and enter the basilica. Afterwards, we’ll visit the island city of Murano, known for its glass blowing industry.
In the late afternoon, you will have the chance to eat dinner in the Mestre area at your own expense.

Venturing out of Venice, we’ll drive to Verona, where your guide will instruct you on the places to see in the city of lovers. Afterwards we’ll journey to Switzerland, beautiful lakes crowned with snow-capped peaks lining our route. After we arrive in Zurich, you’ll have free time in the historic center next to the
lake, where you may dine at the restaurant of your choice (own expense).

Prepare to be mesmerized by beautiful landscapes defined by pristine lakes and soaring mountain peaks. Take a stroll through Interlaken with ample time for a coffee before we take the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald.
There we’ll take a 30-minute walk among fantastic scenery with glaciers all around us.
After that we’ll continue to Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Once back in Zurich, we’ll take you to enjoy an evening at the city’s most popular restaurants (own expense).

Saying farewell to Zurich, we’ll embark on a scenic road trip to Bern, capital city of the confederation built on a bend in the Aare River, its medieval architecture immaculately preserved in UNESCO-listed Old Town. You’ll have time here to take a stroll and breathe in the fresh air while perusing the lovely shops and boutiques.
Next, we’ll journey to France, enjoying beautiful lake views en route to Paris, arriving in the evening.

Today we’ll take a guided tour of the main boulevards and breathtaking attractions of Paris, ending our tour at the Eiffel Tower, where you’ll have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable monument.
We’ll end the day with a boat cruise along the River Seine. The afternoon is yours to explore Paris at your leisure. At sunset we’ll take you to the seductive Latin Quarter for dinner (own expense).
