Annapurna Circuit Trek – 21 Days - 18 Days

Mount-Annapurna-1024×683

The Annapurna Circuit trek is within the mountain range of central Nepal. Annapurna massif includes one peak over 8,000 metres (26,247 ft), thirteen peaks over 7,000 metres (22,966 ft), and sixteen more over 6,000 metres (19,685 ft). The trek is likely to complete within 15 to 18 days. If you do the Annapurna Circuit Trek in 18 days, you can enjoy all the highlights the Annapurna Circuit offers with enough break time. But if you want to do it in 15 days, you can still enjoy the scenery and the whole trek compromising with a small break time on the way.

While the trek to the Himalayas is not recommended during the monsoon season, it is possible to trek the Annapurna circuit all year round as most parts of the circuit sit within a rain shadow. Another perk of trekking during the monsoon period is that many of the flora species bloom during this period, making the trek exceptionally beautiful. This is also the time when the Tilicho Lake side trek is relatively easier. If you want to avoid the crowds in the summer season, we recommend you to trek in the wet seasons but it is likely that you would not be able to enjoy most of the scenery because of the damp days and clouds.

The trek starts from Besisahar after a ride from Kathmandu. And the route follows Khudi, Manang, Mustang, Tatopani, Birethani, and Pokhara. The Annapurna trail includes magnificent and unimaginable scenery, geography, and different climate zones that will make you feel the trek worthy. Along with the views, you will get to closely learn about the settlement of the Gurung and Tibetan villages and the Himalayan cultures and traditions.
